Overview

Ubigene gene knockout cell lines mediated by optimized CRISPR-Cas9 technology provide reliable in vitro models for investigating gene function, signaling pathways, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic targets.

SLC3A2 (solute carrier family 3 member 2) encodes a heavy-chain component of heteromeric amino acid transporters. The supplied annotation does not provide sufficient gene-specific functional information to describe its molecular activities and biological roles reliably.

NRK-52E is a rat kidney epithelial cell line cloned from a mixed culture of normal rat kidney cells, the same parental culture from which NRK-49F was derived. The cells exhibit epithelial-like morphology and distinct growth and transformation characteristics compared with NRK-49F. NRK-52E is used as a model for studying renal epithelial biology, kidney function, and cellular signaling pathways.

Comprehensive quality control includes STR authentication, sterility testing (bacteria and fungi), and mycoplasma screening to ensure purity and performance. Genotype is confirmed by two rounds of PCR and Sanger sequencing, and complete validation reports are provided for make-to-order products.

KO Cell Construction Strategy
Adopting Red Cotton CRISPR Gene Editing Designer (www.rc-crispr.com), two sgRNAs targeting the Slc39a7 gene are designed to generate a knockout strategy. The two sgRNA sequences are subsequently cloned into the EZ-editor™ vector and introduced into NRK-52E cells via electroporation or lentiviral transduction. Single-cell clones are then generated using the limiting dilution method. Genomic DNA from individual clones is subjected to nucleic acid lysis and PCR amplification using the EZ-editor™ Monoclone Genotype Validation Kit (Cat# YK-MV-1000). The edited loci are further verified by Sanger sequencing to confirm the genotype. After secondary validation and quality confirmation, Slc39a7 Knockout cell line (NRK-52E) is expanded and cryopreserved for downstream applications.

Product Overview

Slc39a7 Knockout cell line (NRK-52E)
The Slc39a7 Knockout cell line (NRK-52E) is generated by targeted disruption of the Slc39a7 gene in NRK-52E cells. This cell line is designed to investigate the role of Slc39a7 in cellular function and gene regulation, as well as its potential involvement in disease-related pathways.

Key Advantages

Easy to use
Easy to use

Cas9 cell lines in our cell bank can stably express Cas9 protein. Each Cas9 Stable Cell Line is easy to use and enables gene knockout simply by transfecting gRNA, while transfection of gRNA and donor DNA results in gene knock-in or point mutations

High-efficient KO
High-efficient KO

These Cas9 stable cell lines have been used to construct the KO cell lines for various genes, gene KO efficiency 5-10 times improved.

Curated cells
