Description

Enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) is a bioengineered version of green fluorescent protein (GFP). Its fluorescence intensity is more than 6 times greater than that of GFP. It is more suitable than GFP as a reporter gene to study gene expression, regulation, cell differentiation, protein localization and transport in organisms. Ubigene's MDA-MB-231-EGFP cell line was constructed on the basis of wild-type MDA-MB-231 cells by lentiviral transduction, which can stably express EGFP for a long time. The cell line has low passage, high activity and good condition, and is suitable for flow cytometry, fluorescence imaging and other experiments.

* STR authentication data of this cell line matches with that of cell lines sourced from ATCC, DSMZ, JCRB, and RIKEN databases.
Conclusion: The STR identification of this cell is correct.

Product Advantage

  • icon
    Easy to use
These cell lines were constructed by lentiviral transduction, can stably express EGFP fluorescent protein without adding any enzyme and substrate, can fluoresce under UV or blue light excitation, and are not easy to quench, and can be detected by bioluminescence in vitro and in vivo.
  • icon
    Curated cells
These cell lines are optimized with high-quality, low passage, high activity and good condition, which can be used to complete high-throughput screening of drugs and in vivo fluorescence tracking experiments, and can also be used as control cell lines in lentivirus infection experiments.
