Enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) is a bioengineered version of green fluorescent protein (GFP). Its fluorescence intensity is more than 6 times greater than that of GFP. It is more suitable than GFP as a reporter gene to study gene expression, regulation, cell differentiation, protein localization and transport in organisms. Ubigene's MDCK(NBL-2)-EGFP cell line was constructed on the basis of wild-type MDCK(NBL-2) cells by lentiviral transduction, which can stably express EGFP for a long time. The cell line has low passage, high activity and good condition, and is suitable for flow cytometry, fluorescence imaging and other experiments.
