ZNRD2 (zinc ribbon domain containing 2) encodes a zinc ribbon domain-containing protein that has been identified as an antigen recognized by a subset of anti-centromere antibodies. Its cellular function and subcellular localization have not been established based on the available information. ZNRD2 may therefore be useful as a target for investigating zinc ribbon domain-containing proteins and their potential roles in cellular processes, although its specific biological functions remain to be characterized.
HT-29 is a human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line established from a primary colon tumor of a 44-year-old female patient in 1964. The cells can undergo differentiation into mature goblet-like cells and produce mucin-secreting subclones, such as HT29-MTX, which exhibit characteristics of intestinal epithelial differentiation, including tight junction formation and mucus layer production. HT-29 is widely used as a model for studying colorectal cancer biology, intestinal epithelial differentiation, barrier function, and drug or nanoparticle transport.
Comprehensive quality control includes STR authentication, sterility testing (bacteria and fungi), and mycoplasma screening to ensure purity and performance. Genotype is confirmed by two rounds of PCR and Sanger sequencing, and complete validation reports are provided for make-to-order products.
