Reviewed by ICLAC (ref: 121113, 150506). STR profiling in Chan et al (2008) demonstrated similarity to HeLa, but at less than 80% match. Strong et al (2014) presented additional data in support of this finding, demonstrating that cells carry HPV-18, as previously demonstrated in HeLa cells. The authors speculate that a fusion event may have occurred between HeLa and an unknown cell line; although not proven, current data are consistent with this hypothesis.

Instruction

Use luciferase gene expressing lentivirus constructed by Ubigene to infect the CNE1 cell line, screen the cells based on the resistance marker and the optimal antibiotic screening concentration explored in advance, resulting in a CNE1-Luc cell line that can maintain long-term, stable and high expression.
